Beginner / Beginner to Intermediate Balletermediate Class

Our beginner class is a perfect class for those getting started or revisiting ballet again as an adult. This class will focus on alignment, foundation of technique, and movement quality. It is recommended that students have an understanding of basic ballet vocabulary.  As one progresses, our beginner to intermediate class is a great option for those looking to challenge themselves and increase their ballet technique. It is also designed for dancers with some previous ballet training who are looking to step up beyond the beginner ballet class.

Intermediate Ballet

This class is a great option for those looking to maintain and improve their ballet technique. This class is designed for dancers with a considerable amount of previous ballet training and a knowledge of ballet vocabulary. This class will focus on technical strength, coordination and movement quality. Students should have strong technique at the barre and centre.

Advance Ballet

Our advanced class is the ultimate course for students to master some of the most intricate and impressive ballet dance moves. Students are expected to have a good understanding of technique and incorporate them to some of the most challenging moves such as high extension of the legs and Grand Allegro etc. Students are required to have a minimum 5 years of dancing experience or with our instructor’s approval for you to join this program. This class is also perfect for retired professional dancers who aim to maintain and revive their skills.

Pre-point / Pointe work class

It’s a dream for many adult students to progress to pointe. It certainly isn’t expected when joining an adult ballet class, but it’s a possibility for the most dedicated dancers. You should only consider pointework if you have been taking at least three ballet classes a week for at least two years. While young teens can expect to dance on pointe if they have been training for many years, adults have to remember that they are compensating for lost time. Our pre point classes focus on strengthening the ankles and proper alignment before one attempt going en-point. Our pointe work classes are ideal for experienced students to brush up their pointe work.

Adult Variation Class (Beginner-Intermediate / Advanced)

Besides our regular barre and centre work, each term centres on a specific iconic classical ballet variation, which will be improvised to suit the abilities of our intermediate dancers. This will help further develop your technical skills, musicality, and performance. You will be given the opportunity to perform the variation during an in-studio showcase as a solo or in a small group. Beginner-Intermediate Classes are suitable for adult dancers who have at least 1 year of regular ballet training. Pointe work dancers are welcome to learn the variation en pointe.

Adult Contemporary Class

Not ready yet for a classical ballet class? Here comes the solution for ballet inspired barre workout. In this program, you’ll step into the world of ballet-inspired exercises that target core strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance, all while sculpting and toning your muscles. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete novice, our program is tailored to accommodate all fitness levels, making it accessible to everyone. Stretching and conditioning

Conditioning training is the cornerstone of a well-rounded fitness regimen, and its significance in improving both flexibility and strength cannot be overstated. Mat/Reformer Pilates
